Nelson Saturday Market
Nelson is the second-oldest city in New Zealand. This city is famous for its long sunshine hours and providing a fantastic art, food and wine scene. The vibrant Nelson Saturday Market was established over 40 years ago. It has become an ‘institution’. Here you can meet the stall owners, chat to the artists and experience excitement in the air! This Nelson lifestream tour also includes a stop at Jens Hansen - The Ringmaker. This is the jeweler that NZ film director, Sir Peter Jackson, asked to design and make the ring featured in his film versions of J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings™ and The Hobbit™ books.

Rabbit Island Beach Walk
Join me for a livestream walking tour of my favorite local beach on Rabbit island. Situated at the scenic top of the South Island in New Zealand, Rabbit Island was originally formed about 7000 years ago. Today, it’s a very lovely place for beach goers, families and people from all ‘walks of life’, so to say. The beach faces north (which is our ‘sunny side’ in NZ) with Nelson City to its right and the Abel Tasman National Park on its left. Plus the local cycle trail.There are some amazing driftwood sculptures assembled by fellow beach walkers. We’ll have a closer look at those.
